GRAVESTONE SERIES:
- Every Thursday, June 20 - September 26 from 10:30 a.m. until noon - Castine Town Cemetery. Volunteers at work gathering data - Stop by to watch - to learn - or to join in.
- Saturday June 15 - “Etched in Stone: Castine Town Cemetery - Its Place in U. S. Cemetery History”- 3 p.m. Slide Presentation with speaker Barbara Rotundo of New Hampshire. Current President of the Association for Gravestone Studies, Massachusetts.
- Thursday June 20 - Making Gravestone Rubbings - Dos and Don’ts - 10:30 - Noon.

- Saturday Aug. 10 - “Understanding New England Gravestones and the Stories They Tell” - 3 p.m. Slide Presentation with speaker Laurel Gabel of Cape Cod. Researcher, Author, and AGS Forbes Award winner in gravestone studies.

- Wednesday July 24 Yankee Brass Band - A 28-member band to perform on Castine Town Common - 7 p.m. The Band’s Civil War Period Instruments will be shown at the Museum 2-5 p.m.
- Saturday July 27 “Portraits of India” - 3 p.m. Slide presentation with photographer Kerry Kehoe of New York. Kehoe’s work shown in three locations, July 9 - 30. Note above.
