The mission of the Wilson Museum is to cultivate and encourage human connection across place, time, and cultures. Your support makes these connections possible!
Today more than ever, the Wilson Museum is excited to be a place where people find connections and feel connected, where community is built and strengthened.
In 2024 we welcomed more than 250 children and 3,500 adults to our museum spaces. Through more than 40 programs, 1,600 participants have explored topics from right whales to climate change, from Indigenous stories to Indigenizing archaeology, and so much more. We welcomed groups of university students, middle school students, and K-12 teachers to learn with and about the museum.
And we are expecting great things from 2025! We have expanded our museum learning team and are strengthening and growing collaborations that extend our impact.
Your generous gift today to our annual fund will support our vision for the future:
Connecting local youth with the fascinating and complicated histories and cultures of this place and the wider world.
Connecting to the land and water around us, becoming good caretakers and building resilience as the land and water change.
Connecting to our own and others creativity, expanding our Hands-On History program and Artisan Market.
Connecting with others in our community, with opportunities to learn together through conversations and dialogues on a wide range of local and global issues.
Thank you so very much!
