Enhance your culinary skills while immersing yourself in the rich flavors and traditions of Turkish cooking.
We believe that food not only nourishes our bodies but also brings people together. On Saturday, September 16, join Turkish cuisine expert Hale Akin Asyali for community and an informative workshop as she shares her invaluable experiences and insights about Turkish cooking.
During this four-hour workshop, attendees will learn various techniques used in baking simple and delectable dishes from Türkiye. What makes this workshop truly special is that we will be working as a team to prepare, bake, serve, and, of course, savor the delicious dishes together. We will be cooking in the kitchen of the Hutchins Education Center and dining in the attached event space (shown below). Two clean restrooms are accessible off the kitchen.
Workshop leader Hale Akin Asyali was born and raised in Izmir (Smyrna) on the beautiful coast of the Aegean Sea, and she encourages you to bring your cooking apron and appetite to this culinary adventure!
Space is limited to 10 participants and tickets are $15.00 per person.
