A Night at the Museum: Self-Guided Tours and Movie Night

  • Wilson Museum Campus 107 Perkins Street Castine, ME 04421 (map)

Have you been to a museum after dark? Find out what it feels like to visit the Wilson Museum after the sun sets on Friday, September 30. The shades will be drawn, and the illuminated cases will light the way for the public to self-guide through the museum (6:30 to 7:30 pm). Then, imagine what could happen if museum relics came to life during a screening of the movie Night at the Museum (7:30 to 9:30 pm). The movie will be projected onto the east side of the Perkins House for the community to enjoy from their own blanket or lawn chair on the Shore Lot. In case of rain, the movie will be shown in the Hutchins Education Center. There is a suggested donation of $5 per visitor in the museum; the movie is free of charge.

Please feel free to reach out to Haley at education@wilsonmuseum.org with any questions.
