Living History Open House

The 2023 living history season kicks off with an Open House!

Bring your family and friends to our Living History Open House, filled with engaging activities for visitors of all ages!

Enjoy:

  • Fresh baked goods from the bake oven

  • Ash pounding demonstration and materials preparation for basket making with Passamaquoddy artist and knowledge keeper Gabriel Frey

  • Making small boats in the woodshop

  • Blacksmithing demonstrations in the blacksmith shop

  • Wooden boat building in the boat shop

  • Tours of the Perkins House ($5.00 per person)

All living history programs are kid-friendly, open to the public, and free of charge.

Donations are welcomed in locations around campus.
